Howdy from Arizona,

I hope and pray everyone is having  a good 09 so far, it may be a little bumpy for some? This morning I saw it was 55 below zero in Minnesota with a wind chill!  Thats just crazy, I could never move back to that state.

It is a wonderful 72 degrees here in Phoenix today.  I took a nice long bike ride.

Back in my office I have been scanning 6x7 transparencies for days now.  I have had a shoebox full of to dark or to light images for maybe 8 years now, so I have been scanning them with my Nikon Coolscan 8000 and they look great.

In a few weeks I am going up to Coyote Buttes and southern Utah for a week to photograph some red rock formation.  Late February me and some other photographers will be going to the Bisti Badlands New Mexico wilderness areas to photograph the unbelievable rock formations!

In March it's off to Arches National Park with my wife Nancy and our two little dogs Chloe & Chewie.

Never a dull moment here in Arizona.
